In the world of self discovery, there are many paths home. The beautiful thing about learning about your deeper self (and Higher Self if you're into that), is that we can each gravitate to what suits us most. There is no 'one right way' which means there is MUCH space for curiosity and play.

Early in my learning about who I am and how I operate, I was gifted a set of Oracle cards. It was fortuitous timing as I was at a T-intersection of life. One path led me down the road mostly travelled, a professional career role straight out of university, and the other led me into adventures unknown. I did my first ever 3 card pull (past, present, future) and promptly burst into tears. I knew on a deep level that I wanted to take the adventure path, that it was the way for me. The crying was because I felt like I 'should' take the career path and get on with being an adult already (at 21 years

old - ohhh the weight of responsibility felt heavy).

So, I adventured. Zero regrets.

I don't recall the actual cards that were pulled that day, only how they made me feel. It was like a chest had been unlocked inside me and my true thoughts and feelings had permission to be seen. I wasn't using them to MAKE the decision on which path to take, only to explore and refine my thinking.

I continue to use Oracle and Tarot cards in a similar way to this day and with clients. In my world, it's not about predicting the future, it's seeing what shows up and how I feel about it. Getting curious about how it lands for me emotionally. What could the Tower card be referring to? Is there an area of life that feels unsteady or on shaky ground? They are prompts to be delving deeper into my own thought process, shining lights into areas that might otherwise remain dark and unexplored.

If you're working with me and this in an area you'd like to explore in your own life, let me know! I'm always happy to see what comes up and hold space for whatever rises to the surface.
