Service Description

Soma Stretch is partner-assisted stretching built on the science of the nervous system and the art of holding space. Using PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) techniques — contract, release, deepen — we work together to access ranges of motion your body won't reach alone. This isn't passive stretching. It's an active conversation between your muscles, your nervous system, and mine, guided with care and precision. Alongside the PNF work, we bring a close eye to postural alignment — not just chasing flexibility, but restoring the structural balance that lets your body move and rest the way it's meant to. Where you hold tension often tells a story; we work with that, not against it. We close every session with a short integration — a still, quiet space (think savasana) for your nervous system to catch up with your body. This is where the real work settles in: not just looser muscles, but a body that feels met, held, and a little more like home. Science. Holding. Flow — in every stretch. Available in-person at the Richmond Road Studio (Marda Loop).

Ember 'n Echo is based in Calgary, Alberta, on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy — Siksika, Kainai, and Piikani — the Tsuut'ina Nation, and the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, within the boundaries of Treaty 7. The Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3, also calls this home. I carry with me a deep respect for the Turrbal and Jagera peoples of Brisbane, and the Wakka Wakka people of Murgon, on whose Country I was shaped. I am grateful to live and work on this land
